Data from the Danish Gambling Authority’s quarterly statistics shows that the total gross gaming revenue (GGR) for betting, online casino, gaming machines and land-based casino in Q2 2022 amounted to DKK 1,688 million. This is a year-on-year increase of DKK 116 million, equalling 7.4 percent. The total increase is especially due to land-based casinos, gambling arcades and bars being open for all of Q2 2022, while they were closed for a period of Q2 2021 as a consequence of Covid-19 measures.
