Consultation on new rules on charity lotteries and liberalisation of land-based bingo

The Danish Ministry of Taxation has submitted the draft proposal for the Act on Amendment of Act on Gambling and the Gambling Duties Act with a view to implementing the political agreement on lotteries of the 20th of March 2024.

The deadline for sending a consultation response is no later than Thursday the 22nd of August 2024.
Your consultation response must be sent to lovgivningogoekonomi@skm.dk with a copy to jhve@spillemyndigheden.dk. Please write “j.nr. 2024-3682” in the subject field.
The rules do not yet apply, but they are expected to take effect on the 1st of January 2025.
