The Danish Gambling Authority (DGA) has updated the certification programme for betting and online casino because of the introduction of supplier licences from 1st of January 2025. Interested parties are welcome to comment on the update.

In a new agreement between the Danish Consumer Ombudsman, the Gambling Advertising Board and the Danish Gambling Authority, the authorities and the board will coordinate their efforts, when they intervene with illegal marketing of gambling in Denmark.

The Danish Gambling Authority has previously announced that the Maritime and Commercial Court on 5 March 2024 ruled in favour of the bankruptcy estate in a case between the bankruptcy estate and a player. The player’s claim for payment of the balance on his gaming account was thereby rejected.
