Application fee

The application fee is DKK 21,900 (2026 level), and you must pay the fee no later than when you submit your application.

If you apply for a renewal of your licence, the application fee is DKK 10,900 (2026 level). You must pay the fee no later than when you submit your renewal application.

Once you have been granted a licence

You must pay an annual fee based on the taxable gross gaming revenue (GGR) for a calendar year. For new licences, the fee must be paid no later than one month after the licence has entered into force. The fee is paid to the Danish Gambling Authority.

For existing licences, the Danish Gambling Authority will, at the turn of the year, calculate the revenue interval for both the past year and the coming year. The Authority will then calculate the fee you must pay. You will receive a letter with this calculation and an invoice for the fee, which must be paid no later than one month after the invoice is issued.

The annual fees are adjusted pursuant to Section 20 of the Act on Income Tax for Individuals, etc.
