Revenue-restricted licences

You can apply for a revenue-restricted licence from the Danish Gambling Authority to provide online casino or online betting.

The revenue-restricted licences are different from the 5-year licences because

  • the licence is only valid for up to one year
  • the gross gaming revenue (the amount wagered minus the winnings returned to players) must not exceed DKK 1 million
  • the turnover from gambling cannot exceed DKK 10 million
  • it is not required that an approved enterprise complete the report after the first year's provision of gambling products and services.
  • prizes, both money and goods, subject to the revenue-restricted licence must be calculated as the actual expense of the prize.
