Jydepotten Automater ApS fined for breach of the gambling legislation

On 11 February 2025 Jydepotten Automater ApS has accepted a fine of DKK 6,000 for breaching sections 18 and 19(1) cf. section 21(1) of the executive order no. 1289 of the 29th of November 2019 on gaming machines in gambling arcades and restaurants, cafés and bars.

The breach consisted of omitting to post signs saying that persons under 18 years old cannot use the gaming machines, omitting to refer to the Danish Gambling Authority’s helpline for responsible gambling (StopSpillet), and omitting to use the Danish Gambling Authority’s label at the gambling premises Carpe Diem on the address: Kjellerupsgade 13, 9000 Aalborg.
