The Danish gambling market June 2026: Increase in total gambling spend
Danes’ gambling spend rose in June 2026 compared with the same month last year, according to the latest monthly statistics from the Danish Gambling Authority. The betting market in particular experienced a significant increase.
The figures show that total gambling spend in June 2026 increased by 23.6 per cent compared with the same month last year. Betting saw an increase of 68.6 per cent. Online casino increased by 16.0 per cent. Gaming machines experienced a decrease of 2.0 per cent. Land‑based bingo saw an increase of 5.0 per cent, and finally, land‑based casinos saw a decrease of 0.7 per cent.
The monthly statistics also include figures for the Danish Gambling Authority’s Register of Voluntarily Excluded Players (ROFUS) and the helpline StopSpillet.
