Gross gaming revenue (GGR) in million DKK
The quarterly data is based on duty payments from all licence holders. Q4 2013 has the highest GGR for both betting and online casino since the liberalization of the market which entered into force 1 January 2012. The figures imply that especially for betting there is a seasonal fluctuation which means that GGR is highest in Q4 and Q1 and lowest in Q3. Regarding 2013 the GGR for betting and online casino has increased by respectively 18 per cent and 14 per cent in 2013.
Other types of gambling
Data for other gambling types is not available yet for Q4 and with that all of 2013. The data for gaming machines, land based casinos, Danske Lotteri Spil and Klasselotteriet will be published when it is available and at the latest when the annual report of the Danish Gambling Authority is published at the end of March.
