Closure of casinos and gambling arcades
20, Dec 2021
As of 17 December 2021, new restrictions have been introduced to prevent the spread of conronavirus in Denmark. Casinos and arcades must therefore remain closed until 16 January 2022.
It is the person in charge of the day-to-day operation of the games room or casino who is responsible for the closure.
No sight of slot machines should be reported to the Gambling Authority during the closing period.
When casinos and arcades reopen, the Danish Gambling Authority will take into account the involuntary closure period when inspecting the gaming machine.
