Many young people gamble and studies show that especially young people are at the risk of developing gambling addictions. Consequently, the Danish Gambling Authority offers to give presentations at educational institutions, associations, and sport clubs for young people. We offer:
Presentation on skin betting and loot boxes
Duration: By appointment

In our daily work, the Danish Gambling Authority receive a increasing number of enquires from parens who are worried about their children's use of skin betting and/or loot boxes. Often, the parents have a limited or no knowledge of skin bettign and loot boxes.
The presentation deals with the rules on skin betting and loot boxes.
Choose among three types of presentations aimed at three different audiences:
- Parens and other interested
- Children and young people under 18
- Combined presentation for children and young people under 18 and their parents
Short presentation
Duration: 7-10 minutes
Contents:
- Who is the Danish Gambling Authority?
- On what do Danes gamble and how much money do we spend on gambling?
- What to watch out for when gambling
- ROFUS (our register of self-excluded persons)
You can choose to supplement the presentation with a stand where the students can asks our employees questions.
Longer presentation
With participation of employees from a treatment centre of compulsive gambling.
Duration: 1-1½ hour(s)

- What to watch out for when gambling
- ROFUS (our register of self-excluded persons)
- Compulsive gambling (what is it, who become compulsive gamblers, how to prevent it?)
The students are involved in the presentation by means of tests or quizzes and debate. You can choose to supplement the presentation with a stand where the students can asks our employees questions.
